AquaGuard 5000 is a high performance, 100% solids, epoxy Phenolic resin with proprietary alkali curing agents. Reinforced with proprietary additives for physical strength.

This is a two-component system: First you apply one coat of AquaGuard protective sealer. Wait a minimum of 24 hours for pool refinishing sealer to thoroughly to dry. Complete pool resurfacing by applying 3 coats of AquaGuard 5000 protective coating. Requires 1 coat. One unit covers from 600 - 700 ft, depending upon the porosity of the concrete. AquaGuard® 5000 Plus is simply the strongest pool system in the world. It is a shell within a shell using F.R.P. (Fiberglass Reinforced Polymers). The product is FDA approved and even has a 15-year warranty against defects. It is unlike anything out there in terms of a pool refinishing system. AG Plus is a 100% solids epoxy primer. Two-component system; Resin and Hardener. AquaGuard Plus is a very low viscosity, solvent free epoxy resin-curing agent based on the new light colored breakthrough in phenalkamine technology. Designed especially for 100% solid coatings has an excellent balance of cure speed and pot life, which enables coatings to be applied with conventional roll on equipment and provide an increased application window for the heavy-duty protective coatings industry.

Apply 1st coat with corning 1 ½ Fiberglass matting-Soak Thoroughly - Covers 150 Sq. Ft. per Unit. Let Dry 12-24 hours, then apply 3 coats AquaGuard 5000® Protective Coatings.
